Pre-Gaming

Hi everyone! So, since we've officially reached the two-week mark until departure, I've been doing a little pre-gaming by reading the Greek newspapers. (Learning about what's going on over there is an excellent way to ease bouncing-off-the-walls excitement.) As some of you may know, the Greek economic situation at present is very much Not Good, with capitals and all. It would seem that as of late the eurozone isn't too happy with the Greeks, what with threatening to kick them out and everything. However, after a bunch of hodge-podge from politicians and the like, I found it interesting to read about the opinion of commoners like you and me. I mean, if people are rioting in the streets then there must be some sort of unrest within the country, right? The question is whether plebeian unhappiness is brought on due to genuine concern for the future of Greece or simply because of a resistance to change. It can't be a coincidence that 499 arrests in the past month have been due to tax evasion.

It's a crazy situation, all right, and we're going to be smack-dab in the middle of it. Tune in June 17th for the final results!
